Guarantee Policy Detail
Activate your guarantee on the Thank You page after your
order and You must continue to allow us to send you reminder emails that will
detail how to care for your plant during the 3-years. Please follow the
instructions so your tree will thrive!
For a free, one time replacement the following season,
complete and send in the Return Authorization Application along with a copy of
your invoice by mail or email. Please be patient as our customer service
department reviews your application to respond via email with either an approval
or disapproval notice. All approvals will receive a Return Authorization number
which must be present on the outside of a returned package to be accepted on
site with 25% of the plant cost of the dead plants for return delivery shipping
(Minimum $10.00). The order form / shipping label is attached to every package
and should be retained for your records, and to verify your order upon arrival.
Guarantee expires in 3 years. Guarantee is void; if the plants are returned with
green bark, live roots or sprouts below the graft. Guarantee is void on potted
plants; or any plants shipped outside the recommended zones 9-11: or email tree care
instructions are refused. If customer authorizes shipment during below freezing
temperatures, then guarantee is void. (See U.S.D.A

KeyLimePieTree.com offers a 3-year guarantee that
plants will grow,
KeyLimePieTree.com under no circumstances implies or expresses
any warranty as to the production of the plants sold. Many plants may not
produce fruit or flowers as a result of customer growing practices, inadequate
pollination, unsuitable soil types, and regional climate variations. Follow our
emails for the best advice to get fruit from your tree.
It is customer's
responsibility to inform us you have not received your tree within TWO WEEKS of
your order date since trees can be lost in the mail and die if not recovered
within a reasonable time. Informing us past that two week period
voids any refund or replacement.
All plants are shipped bare root, unless special
arrangements have been made prior to shipping. Container grown plants are
removed from the pots with most of the soil removed and shipped bare root. All
plant roots are treated with a moisture gel, 'Terrasorb,' and carefully
packaged for delivery. As of 4/18/07 we are starting to ship some trees with
soil in grower's pot for an extra cost to lessen transportation shock. We will not, under any circumstances, refund customer's
shipping to return plants to the Nursery.
Because of agricultural regulations, we cannot ship citrus to TX, AZ or CA.
We do not ship citrus internationally.
Receiving and Acceptance
Nursery stock is perishable. All shipments should be
immediately and carefully unpacked and inspected on arrival and then placed in
proper storage. Any problems with the condition or quality or quantity of goods
received should be brought to our attention immediately. In the rare event that
you should receive a package from one of our carriers (USPS, DHL, UPS, etc.)
that is obviously damaged in delivery, please report to the carrier the damaged
package, then contact us to inform us of the problem, and we
will promptly ship you a replacement order. Please take a digital photo of the
damage with tree also and
email it to us.
Refund / Cancellations
We do not offer refunds nor cancellations on orders. We
offer replacements of unsatisfactory DOA plants only.
Returns for Replacements
Our nursery stock cannot be returned without the express
written permission of
KeyLimePieTree.com Nursery. In all cases goods cannot be
returned after they have been accepted, processed, improperly stored, planted,
or otherwise treated, modified or used in any way. Before returning dead plants
for replacement, the following season, customer must fill out the RA (Return
Authorization) application on the order form and either mail or email it to
us so we can review it, then we will email you with a RA number to return the
dead plants with a copy of the order form and 25% of the plant cost for shipping
Most fruit trees are pruned, free of charge, prior to
shipping. Texas A&M recommends 1/3 pruning of trees, especially after a hard
freeze. The trees may be pruned as
deemed necessary by the shipping manager, to facilitate the most efficient
method of delivery and to insure the most favorable survivability.
